there's a need for good things on the rez

The Blackfeet Reservation is located at the foot of the Rocky Mountains and at the beginning of the Great Plains... it's a great location and its hard to explain how it feels to see the mountains everyday.   But within all great places there's also issues and needs.  Poverty, addictions, and trauma are big problems that impact everyone's lives on and around the reservation but we know this already and that is a big topic around the rez.  However, another topic that grabs my attention is the lack of opportunities for everyone to participate in the really interesting things that happen on the reservation.  There is also so much to do throughout the entire state, too! This state has so much going on but a lot of it is rural country, so there's a lot of traveling to do in order to get to one place to another and that distance can create boundaries for a lot of our Blackfeet youth who live on or in reservation border towns.
